If you buy from Amazon, you will get a "gray market" watch whose provenance is, at best, suspect. You won't get the factory warranty cards. The serial number may be stamped out. An Omega service center won't touch one of these gray market watches. Omega gives a three-year warranty on its co-axial chronometers, and sellers like Birk's in Canada offer an extra one-year warranty for free. By contrast, the Amazon warranty doesn't give you access to certified Omega technicians and parts. A "jack of all trades" technician will be the one to work on your watch. What's more, when the seller goes out of business, you have no more warranty. And you don't have the option of taking your watch to a local service center; you have to mail it to the seller. I don't think this is the place to save money. Buy from an authorized dealer and have the pride of having an authorized Omega watch!
