Battery replacement for Fossil square face ladies watch

How do you remove the back of the watch to expose the battery? There is a small indention on the side opposite the stem. I have been unable to find a tool small enough to insert in the groove to pry it loose.

Fossil square back is tough pry

I got the same problem. I do watch repair and can't get the back off a square fossil watch. The pry slot is so tiny (barely enough for razor) and will not pry up. Anybody know a trick to get this square fossil back off?

Thats bc its water resistant. I have the same problem. Im going to bring it to a jeweler.
