How do I know if it is really an Invicta?

I am wanting to get some watches. My husband has been wanting to start a collection of the Invicta watches but I don't want to get burned. How do I know if the item is real or a replica? Any help would be great. I am mostly looking on ebay and they look real to me but are there any noticeable markings to look for when I get it? The auctions say they are authentic and so if I find it isn't I can get my money back.

On both of my Invictas (S1 Rally and Blue/SS Grand diver)both came with paperwork /Invicta watch box.
I dont think a the fake company would spend the money on these. Best of luck their great watches !

Unfortunately, there are now reps made of Invicta,Seiko and yes even Casio. If you want an invicta that you know is real, the best places to go are shop nbc and overstock dot com. You will get a real watch with a nice warranty and you will know it is real.

I have not heard anything about replica Invicta's showing up. The Replica Watch Report does not even have any information on them. Most Invicta watches retail for under $500 and actually sell for 50-70% less than that from authorized dealers. I just don't think there is the return for replica watch makers to try and compete with that.

Personally, I would encourage you to check out the Amazon.com Invicta Watch Store. They have incredible deals and I bought the Pro Diver Automatic from them for $69 when they had a special going on. Great watch, awesome price!

Amazon has a weekly special on some Invicta watches - this week it is the Specialty Technica Automatics for $99.00, 80% off retail!

One of the other things I like is the extended five year warranty that you can get. This is a manufacturer's warranty directly from Invicta and you can only get it if you buy from Amazon. You can read more about it at the bottom of the Invicta Watch Store home page.

You can still buy a used Invicta on eBay but personally I don't think it is worth the savings. You can usually only save $10-20 by buying a used model.
