How to design and create my own watch?

Hi my name is steve I'm a designer based out of Boston. I came across your site after weeks for searching. I'm a fan of time pieces in general and as an artist I've always and desire to design my own watch. For the last 4 months I've been doing research on how to design watches and I've come up very short on the internet. So i figured that you being watch sellers might have an idea or know a great DIY site to design your own watch faces or maybe a manufacturing company that specializes in watch designs. If you happen to know anything or could point me in the right direction that would be great.
