identify old bulova ladies wrist watch

I have an old bulova watch that belonged to my mother. it doesn't work and needs repair. I want to know what it is worth so I know if it is worth it to have it repaired. On back of watch it says Buliva L2 0974403. It is gold in color, but do not know if it is 14k or what. can you give me info?
