Own Several but NEVER again
by: Bill

NO Invicta is a collectable...come on REALLY...how many high end collectables have you purchased at JC Penney? With that said, nice watches sure collectable NOT! Even nice is a stretch when your purchase arrives with all but the main hands flying around off their steams loosely below the MOLD covered crystal. Actually the entire watch, extra bands, and inside the diver case was covered in MOLD. Sure ShopNBC sent letters offering a refund for MOLD but ZERO, NOTTA...NOTHING mentioned about the hands falling off. And I beat I'm not the only watch owner with this very issue. Good looking watches yes...high quality NOT EVEN CLOSE!!

What the hell is an Invicta?
by: Invicta Hater

To the guy who said "it makes a statement" What it actually does is make a statement about the nut who would buy into the schpeel and purchase a truly no-name watch. This guy "hawking" them.
Skelton I think his name is, although probably fake. I think he occasionally laughs to cover up the fact that he can't even believe what he's saying. A collectible! Oh please. I believe no matter what the brand of watch (I used to sell cars), buy used and save anywhere from 30-70%. You could buy a used Rolex for the 900.00 some people pay for the Invicta and it won't be worth 100.00 the day you put it on. The one night I had to give Skelton a kudo was when he was hawking an Invicta good til 20,000 feet under the sea and he indeed did note that there is pretty much no way in hell anyone should attemp to test this limit since you shouldn't be there yourself.

Subaqua Noma III
by: Anonymous

It's a nice looking watch. Very substantial feeling. But I have to laugh at people who think it's a collector's piece and that it makes a statement. The only statement an Invicta makes is that you are having some fun with what's on your wrist. An Invicta will not impress anyone who knows watches. The craftmanship is 2nd grade from the band materials, painted on facia and glued on numerals. You can't even dive with confidence that it won't leak (most do).

I couldn't see paying 2K for an Invicta SN 3 automatic so I bought the Quartz for $500. At this price it is low remorse because you can't really resell it (Invicta's don't hold their value).

Just a desk diver
by: brett

Well lets start buy saying it is a beautiful
watch but... a diver it is not.Yes it can go deep (maybe) I've owned several Invicta divers and
several leaked in a swimming pool! The dial while pretty is very hard to read clearly and the lume is very poor useful only for shallow day time dives. the black paint on the bezel at the 12 dot ,3,6, and nine markers flaked off the first time it went in the shower!Once again a nice looking watch and most will never dive with it.
No serious diver would, but the bad lume and paint peeling off plus it seems Invicta uses a softer cheaper steel for the bracelet as they scratch very easy and is not what is expected for a watch costing what it does. You can pick one up on ebay for around $450.00 - $600.00 or less if you wait for a deal. Like all Invictas they don't hold resale at all. Far cry from the mid $2000.00 mark they say it's worth

Watch owner review of Invicta Reserve Subaqua
by: xcom007

Just got this watch from ShopNBC. Stared at watch for awhile. It is the most expensive timepiece I have ever owned. And I wanted to get a feel for why you need to own a 900.00 watch.

Buy the watch, and then you'll know: Its about power and substance and drive..

The watch reeks of success and in your face "u-da-Man" style.

Its a statement piece, not subtle; for someone who wants his watch to speak for him at every gesture..
