Is my Lupah a counterfeit?

Right after Christmas, I purchased an Invicta Lupah on Ebay. It retailed for around $250, but I won the auction for $70. Shortly after receiving the watch, I noticed that engraved on the back were the Invicta logo along with what I assume was the model #(F3091561)and "SWISS PARTS MOVEMENT MADE IN CHINA". It came in an Invicta box along with all the paperwork, etc. However, I have never known Invicta to have any part of the watch made in China. Did I get ripped off?

Some Invicta watches or parts are made in China. It will be hard to uncover exactly what parts are made in China as they will not likely disclose that information and tarnish their image.

Even the high end Invicta models could have Chinese made parts but assembled in Switzerland.

It sounds like a knock off to me. Invicta's model numbers are generally a 4 digit series.

Most of Invicta's watches are assembled in China or have chinese parts in them, that is where the Miota movement is made. The more expensive Invicta have Swiss movements and are assembled in Switzerland. This dosen't mean that you don't have a quality watch. The Miota movement is an excellent movement. Enjoy your watch
