looking for a watch for my dad whom cannot wear one on his wrist because it does not keep time

All I know and I have heard this sometimes is that my dad was looking for his watch because it dropped out of his pant pocket. I said why was it in your pant pocket? He replied because I can't where one on my wrist because it will not keep time. He said something to do with his bodies electric or static it puts off.

Now I know there must be a watch out there that would work for my dad that I would like to get and surprise him with but I just know what it would be.

Can somebody help me?

Perhaps IWC

Maybe an IWC watch. The Mark XV has an iron core so it is non magnetic (so electric/magnetic fields don't have an effect). It is a pilot's watch so g forces are an issue for them. This iron core remedies this problem.

Not sure how much you want to spend but be prepared that this is not a cheap watch. You can find it used for approximately 2000.00

Some people do in fact have difficulty wearing watches due to magnetic fields that they may generate. The answer is to wear an anti-magnetic (non-magnetic) watch. There is a great article about anti-magnetic watches on Wikipedia.org. You can read it here:

Several of the companies that manufacture anti-magnetic watches are IWC, Omega, Breitling and Panerai. Most of these are pilot watches, which by the nature of their intended uses, would need to be resistant to magnetic fields. If you can afford it, Patek Philippe manufactured a ceramic watch, which is completely non-magnetic.
