new ladies de vile cost £2400 .waterproof??

My wife was given a new omega de vile (with diamonds round the edge) by her sister, but i cant seem to find out for sure (either from paperwork with it, or dealers because it was brought miles away from where we live, & the young kids on the counter dont seem to know for sure ,which could be an expensive mistake!!! ) Is this watch waterproof & if so how deep? she has worn it in the bath by mistake & seems okay , but would like to know for sure? cheers for any help
