Old bulova automatic watch stem doesn't work.

I recently aquired an old Bulova SS automatic wrist watch. It runs fine, but the stem won't set the time, it just turns free when you pull it out. I would like to know more about how to remove the crown and take the watch out of the case to inspect it closer. On the face it just says Bulova automatic. on the back is a ser.# J574886 N2. In the back of the watch, it says Bulova Watch Co. 11ANAC 17 jewels. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, James Gentry
