I wore my Omega Seamaster every day while deployed to the desert during Operation Iraqi Freedom. My Seamaster withstood weapons training, shocks from explosions, and harsh conditions in the desert without missing a beat. I was delighted with my Seamaster's performance. I plan on wearing my Omega Seamaster during my upcoming deployment to Afghanistan.

My Seamaster is tough as nails!!! by: Anonymous
I'm a professional firefighter of 27 years and I am still. I owned a seamaster for many years and on more then one occassion I mistakenly wore my OSM to work. It's so comfortable I forget I an wearing it. More than once, I have returned to the firehouse after some pretty heavy, hot and cold, exteme jobs only to realize I was wearing my watch. Using an axe or a halligan tool and sledge hammer is a pretty tramatic action to put a watch through, striking objects with sudden and hard impact. Never once did my watch miss a beat. I also own a several handguns and shoot regularly and have never once had an issue. I have my OSM cleaned and serviced every 5 years, it's an sutomatic naturally. The only damage I have done to it was stain the crystal somehow, but barely noticable.
