Suggested Retail Prices run from $59.95 for the entry level Polar FS1 up to $429.95 for the Polar AXN700, featuring a titanium case, altimeter, barometer and compass. If you want to buy a new Polar Heart Rate Monitor from an authorized dealer, you actual cost will only be about $20-$30 below the Suggested Retail Price. However, you may be able to find a deal on one from an individual seller. I recently bought the Polar F11 which retails for $169.95. The best price I could find from a dealer was $139 and most of them were selling it for $150-$160. I ended up getting a brand new one that had been opened for $105, including shipping.
Polar has lots of unique features that really make their heart rate monitors user friendly. Since I am such a nut about watches, I read the entire manual before I started using my Polar F11. However, I could have simply just pushed the button two times like the sticker on the watch says and gone right through the process to get it set up and ready to use.
