Review of Omega Seamaster 300m

Bought the above watch in 2004 it stopped working in 2007 . Initially complained to the dealer that the watch would stop or lose time if not worn for a day or two even though I had wound it up before leaving it off. I play tennis and they told me to wear it at all times . I accidently forgot to leave it off once while playing tennis and it stopped . I did not strike it and it was on my non playing arm , what a let down when I was asked the time . Before it stopped I lost faith in it having the proper time I would in the morning always check it to a time signal. Since it stopped I purchased a seiko quartz watch with a very similiar appearance and which to date has never let me down from 2007 . The Omega cost me £1100 the Seiko cost £40 . The Omega automatic I would not recommend go for the quartz model . The Seiko can only be described as excellent for the money .It does not have the quality of material or chic appearance of the Omega but these mean nothing if the watch is unreliable. I am going to have the Omega repaired and I'm sure the cost of repair will be more than the cost of the Seiko . Have read comments of other people on other web sites with the same problems with Omega automatic watches.
My simple advice is don't buy an Omega automatic watch.
