If you need to find Seiko replacement watch bands, you first need to decide whether or not you want or need an authentic Seiko band, strap or bracelet. The answer to that question will be influenced in large part on the actual Seiko watch model you own. For example, one of the top-selling Seiko watches, a men's quartz model with a stainless steel bracelet (SGF719), can be purchased for around $55.00. If you order the replacement bracelet from Seiko it will cost you around $25 - and you will still need to get in mounted on the watch. So, in this case, it is almost worth it to get a new watch.
However, if you own a Limited Edition Seiko Sportura Kinetic Chronograph or a Seiko Arctura which cost between $500 to $2,000 then you probably want to keep the watch "authentic" by using genuine Seiko replacement watch bands, straps and bracelets.
If you go to the Seiko website, it is not very clear whether or not you can get Seiko replacement watch bands, straps or bracelets from them. However, I placed a call to one of their customer service representatives and learned that you basically have three choices if you want to get a replacement from them.
If you need to find the nearest authorized Seiko watch dealer or contact Seiko customer service, you can get their e-mail addresses, phone numbers and physical addresses at the Customer Service Centers page on the Seiko website at:

If you want to find authentic Seiko replacement watch bands online, there are a few websites you can check out. Amazon.com has a few to choose from including the popular Original Rubber Seiko Diver 22mm Watch Band that fits model numbers SKXA35, SKX175, SKX173 and other older models that use a 22mm strap. However, you can get this one directly from Seiko cheaper if they have it in stock. The price on Amazon.com is currently $26.95. When I called Seiko Customer Service they had it in stock for $15.27. Shipping charges are about the same at approximately $6.00.
If you have an older Seiko watch, you may not be able to get a replacement band directly from Seiko. One of the best sources I could find for authentic vintage Seiko watch bands was at the Poor Man's Watch Corner. They have a reasonable selection of New Old Stock (NOS) metal bracelets for $40.00 each. Shipping is $10.00. You can see their current offerings at:

Remember at the beginning of this article I said you first need to decide whether or not you need an authentic Seiko replacement watch band? Well, if you don't, then you have quite a few choices. There are several companies that produce some very nice watch bands, straps and bracelets and you can find some really good deals from online merchants. The main thing you need to consider is how well a fit you will get with your new replacement band. Take a close look at the case of your watch where the band is mounted. Is it curved or straight? Also, measure the space between the lugs (use millimeters). Finally, check to see how the band it attached - spring pins or screws. Once you have that information you can start looking for a nice replacement.
