Seiko sealion model (automatic)

I would like to identify the year of a Seiko watch I have just purchased at a flea market.

In the back the following data can be read:
SEIKO M88 SEALION WATER PROOF STAINLESS STEEL 6106-8030

and the front display:
AUTOMATIC 25 JEWELS

What would be the year of manufacturing of this watch?
What is its (approximate)value?

Seiko `Sea Lion ´lady

´Hello all , I have the same problem, that I can`t
find any info on a watch I purchased some years ago
second hand,it`s a mod 2517-0311 has a sea lion and the number LD 99 stamped on case back, 21 jewels automatic on the face.
My wife has worn this watch for over 30 years &
and it keeps time to within 2 seconds/day!!!
Hopefully someone knows a little more than I.
I`d love to get hold of the mens version.

Your Seiko Sea Lion M88

I have a similar Seiko. Mine states on the back cover, "Seiko Waterproof Diashock Stainless Steel 6205-8000" and "Sea Lion M88". On the front, "Seiko Selfdater 17 Jewels". My father bought this watch for me in Thailand in 1967. It still works beautifully and very accurately.
