I was rummaging through a basket of watches at a thrift store and came upon a Seiko automatic DX 17 jewel. It is in reasonable condition(I think) and runs perfectly. I took it to a jeweler to have it cleaned. I asked the jeweler if he'd approximate its value(ballpark it)so to speak. He said "I'll give you $450.00 for it right now", I replied,"I just bought it;sort of like to wear it for a while,but I'll definitely keep that in mind". Anyway, I'd like to sell it so I need an appraisal.
