The web site, SARO-Gem USA, is a tribute to a little known Swiss Watch Manufacturer utilizing Sapphire over Stainless Steel in a patented process.
Hand assembled in Bettlach, Switzerland, SARO-Gem uses a 60-step patented process to produce the world’s most scratch-resistant jewelry watches – watches are created with a sapphire overlay, the second hardest substance known to man besides diamonds.
Because Sapphire is so durable, it is difficult to process and requires shaping through cutting, grinding and polishing, to get the desired size and the shape of the watch bezel and each individual bracelet link.
Both men and women’s models are available with a ten-year warranty and are waterproof to 50 meters, and all models are fully customizable.
SARO-Gem customized watches are unique - customers can choose from thousands of variations because each unit is hand-assembled at the factory.
Customers receive original watches which include all the options they chose. With the BuonGusto 43 Chronograph, a wide variety of dial faces and colors, bezels, diamond arrangements on dial and case, case material, strap type, clasp, and even down to the color of the case back screws, make the possibilities endless.
All SARO-Gem watches are manufactured in limited editions. The International Gemological Institute (IGI) in New York certifies all watches shipped within North America. This certifies to customers all aspects of the sapphire, diamonds, gold, and gems; each purchase will be accompanied by an estimate appraisal for insurance purposes.
SARO-Gem was founded and based on the patented technology of Sapphire over stainless steel and is celebrating its 28th anniversary this year.
